At Rover's Romphouse, we LOVE dogs and we know how hard it is to trust someone else with the care of your furry family member. That's why we are staffed 24/7, and have 16 on-site webcams so you can check in anytime, day or night. We strive to provide you with the same quality boarding and daycare experience that we expect for our own dogs. Stop by during our tour hours and let us show you around!

questions to ask the facility, veterinary practice, or pet sitter you are considering to care for your furry family members

1. How many walks do your boarding pets receive a day?

Rover’s takes our pets out 5 times a day (off leash)…..6am, after breakfast 9:30am, 1pm, after dinner 6pm and between 9pm and 10pm.

2. What time is the last walk of the day?

We try to re-create the home experience and, for health reasons, and to avoid any unnecessary discomfort for the pet, we will walk your pet between 9pm and 10pm each night.

3. Is there a staff member on the property during the night?

Yes, we have staff on duty 24/7, 365 days a year.

4. What is your staff to pet ratio in playcare?

For safety reasons, our big dog playgroup has a 1 staff member to 10 dog ratio. In the little dog playgroup the ratio varies depending on the make up of the dogs attending.

5. Do you charge extra for giving medications?

There is no charge for medications given at morning and evening meal times. However, there is a $5/day charge for injections and meds given at times other than AM/PM after feeding.

6. Do you have webcams so owners can watch their pets?

Yes!! Everywhere your pet goes, there is a webcam. You can watch them on their potty breaks, being fed, and in playcare or in the groom room. Transparency is very important to Rover’s.

7. Can I see where my pet will be boarding?

Of Course. In addition to providing tours during business hours, you will be given access to 16 cameras which will include the room your pet is boarding in even if you do not choose a suite with a direct camera in the kennel.

8. Can I pick up my boarding pet or playcare dog after hours?

Boarders and playcare dogs can be picked up and dropped off from 6:30am to 8:30pm, 365 days a year provided they have stayed with Rovers’s previously. New guests must drop off during front desk business hours (7:30am – 6:30pm M-F, 8am – Noon Sat) the first time only.

9. Do you provide a complimentary bath or require/charge for a bath at the end of a boarding stay?

No, Rover’s provides at least 5 off leash walks a day so it is rare for pets to have accidents in their kennels, therefore, baths are not required before they go home unless the owner has made an appointment for grooming.

10. Do you have an emergency or accident protocol in place?

Yes. Rover’s believes it is very important for your pet to be protected in the event of an accident or emergency. Please speak to the Manager about the policy. Although Rover’s will always attempt to contact the owner in the event of an emergency, the care of your dog is our primary concern and is not contingent on making contact with the owner. Several veterinarians and emergency hospitals have Rover’s accounts and employees are fully aware that the pet’s health comes first
